CBP Design-Build Training Center with Classroom Renovations

Customer: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)

This is a design-build project that entails road and utility construction, shelter and classroom renovations, and technology and lighting installation.

International Towers, LLC performed mobilization demobilization, surveys, investigations, design, labor, equipment, materials, required for construction of fiber optic detection and communications cables, three phase power distribution system in the enforcement zone, lighting. Also constructed an FC-2 road, installed LED lighting, communications fiber, CCTV, LGDS and Command and Control System, complete and ready for use, to facilitate the United States Border Patrol’s (USBP) training mission.

The deployment of this advanced detection technology system within the CBP enforcement zone Enforcement Zone is intended to optimize the U.S. Border Patrol’s ability to train recruits on how to perform their law enforcement mission in a representative environment, while also demonstrating the capability of the individual technology components when they are deployed as a system.
